BCaton Photography Photo Walk Waiver & Guidelines

Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

By participating in this photo walk, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation
   • I understand that I am voluntarily participating in this activity hosted by BCaton Photography.
2. Assumption of Risk
   • I understand that this photo walk takes place outdoors, where risks may include (but are not limited to) uneven terrain, wildlife encounters, weather changes, insects, slips/falls, dehydration, and other natural hazards.
   • I assume all risks associated with my participation.
3. Release of Liability
   • I release and hold harmless BCaton Photography, its owner(s), and affiliates from any claims, demands, or liability for injury, illness, death, loss, or damage to person or property that may result from my participation.
4. Medical Responsibility
   • I am responsible for my own health, safety, and any medical needs that may arise during the event.
5. Photography & Media
   • I grant BCaton Photography permission to use any photographs taken during the walk that may include me, for promotional or educational purposes, unless I notify the host otherwise in writing.

Participant Guidelines

To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all participants:

1. Park Rules
   • All participants must follow Sweetwater Wetlands Park rules and regulations at all times.
   • Stay on designated trails. Do not enter restricted areas.
2. Wildlife Safety
   • Observe wildlife respectfully — do not feed, approach, or disturb animals.
   • Use quiet voices and avoid sudden movements to minimize disturbance.
3. Personal Responsibility
   • Bring your own camera and gear. BCaton Photography does not provide equipment.
   • Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent as needed.
4. Group Conduct
   • Be courteous to other participants and park visitors.
   • Stay with the group unless notifying the host.
5. Weather & Cancellations
   • Walks are weather-dependent. In the case of dangerous weather, the event may be canceled or rescheduled.
